In line with the growth of Bali’s MICE industry, MELALI MICE has become a distinguished Professional Convention Organizer (PCO). The company has successfully participated in conducting numerous international meetings, incentive travels, conventions and exhibitions in Indonesia. Most large conventions and exhibitions took place in Bali and Jakarta while medium-sized meetings, workshops, seminars and other events took place in different cities such as Bogor, Bandung, Solo, Surabaya, Batam, Medan, Padang, Pontianak, Banjarmasin, Makassar, Manado and Lombok. The company also conducted tourism sales missions to Australia, India, China, Korea, Singapore and Macao.

Established in 2006, PT. MELALI MICE (private limited company) is a regional fully licensed and registered Professional Convention Organizer, a key player in the Meetings, Incentives, Conventions and Exhibitions (MICE) in Indonesia.
MELALI MICE has its head office in Kuta, Bali, and marketing offices in Jakarta and Chennai, India. Capable human resources, flexible, multilingual staff as well as qualified technical personnel are dedicated to serving our clients in every way and always give their best to make each event a success. Our core-team consists of more than 25 MICE experts who have proven their capabilities by organizing and handling important international events. Each assignment is given individual attention since every event demands special execution.
Since its establishment, MELALI MICE has acquired a very good reputation within Indonesia (Bali, Jakarta, Bandung, Lombok, Makassar, Manado, Solo, Surabaya, etc). Our experience in handling various events abroad includes Singapore, Australia, Korea, China and India.
Over the past years, MELALI MICE has frequently cooperated with central government of Indonesia in handling regional meetings and international conventions. The company has been cooperating with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Ministry of Research and Technology, Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries, Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Industry, Ministry of Communication and Informatics, Indonesian National Narcotics Board (BNN), Indonesian Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Centre (PPATK), Indonesian National Library and Bogor Agricultural University (IPB).
Furthermore, MELALI MICE successfully handled regional meetings in Bali and East Nusa Tenggara initiated by the UN bodies such as UNDP (United Nations Development Program), UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization), CTITF (Counter-Terrorism Implementation Task Force), IOM (International Organization ror Migration) and UNODA (United Nations Office for Disarmament Affairs) in Indonesia. The company also handled meetings and conventions initiated by international associations and semigovernmental corporate including WFTGA (World Federations of Tourist Guide Associations), SEATGA (South East Asia Tourist Guide Associations), Indonesian Essential Oil Council (Dewan Atsiri Indonesia), PT Pos Indonesia, PT Jasa Marga and PT Astra International.
The portfolio of handling foreign corporate meetings and incentive included Symantec (IT company in Singapore), Nokia Siemens (electronic company in Singapore), Genpact (IT company in India), Blue Coat (IT company in Hong Kong), Toshiba (electronic company based in France), GH Hearing (medical equipment company in France), BHP Billinton (mining company in The Netherlands) and L'oreal Malaysia (cosmetic company in Kuala Lumpur). Holding a sertificate of Certified Master Management of Conference (CMMC), Master Degree in Cultural Studies from Udayana University Bali, Literature Sciences Graduate from Warmadewa University Bali, Diploma in Hotel and Tourism Academy of Kertha Wisata Denpasar, over three decades of dedication in Indonesian’s tourism industry. Nominated as Vice Chairman of the Indonesia Congress and Convention Association (INCCA) Bali for the period 2007 – 2012, 2012-2017 and 2017-2022; Head of Research and Development Division of Indonesia Travel Agency Association (ASITA) Bali for period 2008- 2012, Head of Human Resources Development Division for period 2012-2016 and Head of Specific Market Division for period 2016-2020. Member of Board of Directors of Bali Tourism Board (GIPI Bali) period 2016-2021. Senior Guest Lecturer at MICE Department of Bali Tourism Institute, Nusa Dua. Former guest lecturer at Faculty of Letters, Warmadewa University Bali and Tourism Business Departmenet, Handayani Management Institute Denpasar. Master degree in Business Administration from the Technische Universitaet Berlin, Germany, in 2001, Diploma Degree in Tourism Management from the Tourism Institute Schloss Klessheim, Salzburg, Austria in 1991, Over two decades in hotel and tourism industry, knowledgeable in government bureaucracy and protocols, and speaks some foreign languages. Appointed as Public Relation of Bali Rasa Sayang, an association of tourism related companies promoting Bali on the Japanese Market (2005-2008). Attendance of numerous international Tourism Trade Shows in Europe, East Europe, Asia, Japan, Australia and America.

He has been in the hotel and tourism industry for two decades. Apart from finance matters, he is responsible for research and business development, human resources development, information technology, multimedia and conference equipment. Graduated from Technische Universitaet Berlin, Germany, he lived in Europe for 15 years and returned to Indonesia in 2002.
